THR Membership Agreement
To maintain THR membership, the current members must meet all of the following requirements:
1. Must stay current on team dues every year. Dues are required to be paid between January 1st and February 1st every year for current members. New members joining after February 1st are required to pay team dues upon membership approval.
2. Must purchase and wear the current THR race jersey for races/events. Jerseys are updated every 2 years.
3. Must not wear the jersey of another club/team/sponsor for races/events (this is a USA Cycling requirment). Team members are encouraged to wear THR branded jerseys or unbranded jerseys on group rides.
4. Must volunteer a minimum of 4 hours per calendar year for THR promoted, and related events. This volunteering can include pre-event tasks, during event tasks, and post event tasks. Alternatively, members have the option of satisfying these volunteer hours by leading 4 public group rides during the year.
5. Must participate in at least 2 timed, competitive racing events per year or contribute 16 hours of volunteer time. Qualifying event disciplines include: Road, CX, MTB, Gravel, Track, BMX, timed Gran Fondo’s.
For members who receive financial assistance from THR in the form of free or reduced cost cycling apparel, race reimbursement, or any other direct financial payments, they are required to ride for THR and follow all related member requirements for one full calendar year. Failure to do so will result in a one year ban from all THR promoted events for the following calendar year and in some cases financial reimbursement in the amount spent on the member for that calendar year.
